It is always interesting to move to a new city. Getting to know the new city can be difficult, but events that are spread out all over town help in getting to know where things are located. The 27th Annual Joinville Dance Festival is going on right now. And, since I have a camera, I thought I would try to find some of the open stage venues and take a few pictures. And, I’m learning my way around town at the same time.

The 2008 Dance Festival in Joinville was entered in the Guiness Book of World Records as the largest Dance Festival in the world. The 2009 festival looks like it will be larger still. So, what’s going on at the dance festival?

There’s a few pictures that I took on Friday and Saturday. I hope you enjoy them and I hope they begin to give you a little of the flavor of Joinville as we’ve discovered it so far.

We arrived in Joinville this week and are slowly unpacking boxes and putting the house in order.  We have also begun to learn our new city.  Continue to pray for us as we get adjusted to the area and seek God’s guidance in reaching Joinville and the surrounding area for Christ.  We finally have an internet connection and will begin sending out updates.  If you would like to receive those via email, send us an email at rockymeadow@pobox.com.  We will also be posting all our updates here as well.
